Senior Infrastructure Engineer
IonQ seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain critical infrastructure for quantum computers, including on-prem and cloud systems. You'll work with Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD in a hybrid role based in College Park, MD or Bothell, WA, with a competitive salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Build out, automate, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
- Contribute to expanding Observability platform (Grafana stack)
- Develop and implement digital security capabilities for cloud and on-prem facilities
- Provision infrastructure in cloud and on-prem as needed
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for developer acceleration

In this role, you will be building and operating quantum computers, which requires lots of classical computers — from high-performance computing clusters to VMs and containerized services, we rely on on-prem and cloud-based computers every day. We also build out all of the avenues that code gets from laptops and workspaces onto those classical computers.
