To strengthen our team at the Orlando location, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer.
As a key member of MicroVision’s Hardware Design Engineering team, you will collaborate with various technical teams in the company to design and take into production market defining Automotive LiDAR products. Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer contributes to the design, development, and validation of circuit boards and electrical subsystems for automotive LiDAR systems.
This role participates in the product development lifecycle, applying strong board-level design skills and hands-on problem solving across development and integration phases. The ideal candidate brings solid technical depth in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power circuit design, and is eager to grow toward increased ownership and technical leadership over time.
Experience contributing to products through multiple phases of the development lifecycle, including design, integration, validation, and production Hands-on lab skills including board bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and logic analyzers
Experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power circuit design Working knowledge of hardware development best practices, including design reviews, risk reduction, and documentation discipline Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product development environment Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Exposure to SI/PI analysis using HyperLynx or equivalent tools Familiarity with complex sensing, imaging, or electro-optical systems
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer Exposure to environmental, reliability, or compliance testing Familiarity with automotive product development processes, requirements, or standards
Experience working with contract manufacturers or supporting production activities
