Senior Backend Engineer, Consumer
HelloFresh seeks a Senior Backend Engineer for the Loyalty & Virality tribe to build scalable microservices in Go/Java on AWS/GCP, with a hybrid work model in Toronto and a salary range of $120k-$145k CAD.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services with distributed architecture and microservices
- Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software development, testing, and deployment
- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions for solution design
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
