Reproductive Health Assistant
About the role
Planned Parenthood Great Plains has provided access to sexual and reproductive health care since 1935. The high-quality, expert, and compassionate care we provide is shown through our empathetic and supportive staff members. Past challenges, and those we face today, have served only to solidify PPGP’s commitment to our patients and the community.
We continue to reflect on the progress we have made over the last eight decades and look forward to continuing our efforts to secure a world of informed reproductive freedom. Join our dedicated team and “Care.
Planned Parenthood Great Plains is expanding access to care in Louisiana, with telehealth services expected to launch later this summer and in-person care planned to return to New Orleans later this year. Care in Louisiana will be provided by Planned Parenthood of Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma (PPAEO), part of the Planned Parenthood Great Plains network of care.
Reproductive Health Assistants (RHAs) participate in a team approach to patient care which requires effectively communicating with patients from a wide range of backgrounds and ages and supporting their healthcare experience with compassion and excellent care.
The RHA is responsible for assisting patients including, but not limited to, front desk operations, patient education, patient care, laboratory work, sonogram services, surgical support and recovery. These responsibilities require the RHA to train and work at multiple stations.
