About the role

Role Overview: We’re looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the development of our mobile platform. As the mobile engineer on a small team that includes a QA Architect and a Senior Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our mobile experience. This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up while collaborating closely with design and QA to deliver a world-class product.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect, develop, and maintain our mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with design and QA to deliver seamless and polished user experiences.
  • Define and implement best practices for mobile development, testing, and deployment.
  • Own technical decisions and ensure the scalability of our mobile platform.
  • Act as the main point of technical expertise for all things mobile.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of professional experience in mobile app development.
  • Expertise in React Native or native development for iOS/Android.
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality mobile apps to production.
  • Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging.
  • Ability to thrive as the sole engineer in a collaborative, small-team environment.
  • Excellent English skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the renewable energy or SaaS industry.
  • Knowledge of geolocation technologies and real-time data integration.
  • Familiarity with SOC II compliance and secure app development practices.
