ABOUT APOLLO RESEARCH Apollo Research is a mission-driven startup committed to reducing the threats from scheming frontier AI systems. We do fundamental research on the science of scheming, provide advice on the institutional implications of loss of control threats, and build monitoring tools for AI agents.
We work with and are trusted by frontier AI labs including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, and more. THE ROLE We're looking for a part-time Office Manager to manage our San Francisco office and build out Apollo's Bay Area presence.
This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in well-run spaces, enjoys variety, and wants to grow an operations career in a place where the work genuinely matters. This role starts part-time, about 10-20 hours a week. As we double in size over the next 12 months and you show your strengths, your responsibilities could increase, with a clear path to a full-time position.
