Position Overview: The Curriculum Specialist is a detail-oriented educational professional responsible for the design, development, revision, and alignment of curriculum and instructional materials. This role focuses on executing high-quality curriculum builds and updates based on data-driven decision-making, accreditation requirements, and evolving regulatory standards.
Working under the guidance of the Curriculum Manager or Director of Curriculum & Instruction, the Curriculum Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that all course content is instructionally sound, standards-aligned, and compliant with state, national, and accreditation expectations.
This role requires strong writing skills, precision in standards alignment, and the ability to translate academic and regulatory requirements into clear, engaging instructional materials.
In addition, the Curriculum Specialist supports faculty-related processes, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional learning, to ensure strong alignment between curriculum design and instructional delivery.
