Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Advisory Specialist - I (Pre-Sales) to join our growing Solutions Consulting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles who wants to build expertise in SaaS, AI, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).
In this role, you will partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, Product, and Engineering teams to support customer engagements, understand business challenges, demonstrate our platform, and help design solution approaches. You will gain exposure to AI-powered SaaS solutions while developing strong technical, consulting, and customer-facing skills.
Key
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team during customer engagements by providing technical expertise throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
- Participate in customer discovery sessions to understand business processes, technical environments, and solution requirements.
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases and business challenges.
- Assist in designing solution architectures, implementation approaches, and integration strategies under the guidance of senior Solutions Architects.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documentation, Statements of Work (SOWs), and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
- Build proof-of-concepts (PoCs), solution prototypes, and demo environments showcasing platform capabilities.
- Develop basic integrations using APIs, SQL, scripting, and automation tools where required.
- Write SQL queries to analyse customer data, validate use cases, and support technical solution design.
- Support AI-enabled customer solutions, including workflow automation, AI assistants, and LLM-powered capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to communicate customer requirements and technical feedback.
- Stay current with industry trends across SaaS, AI, cloud technologies, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, demo assets, competitive intelligence, and reusable solution content.
Required Skills &
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of SaaS products and cloud-based software architectures.
- Basic hands-on programming or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or similar).
- Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to query, analyse, and validate data.
- Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, JSON, and web technologies.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, or workflow automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously learn emerging technologies.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Skills
- Exposure to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, audit, compliance, or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and visualisation tools.
- Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and collaboration tools.
- Understanding of enterprise integrations and automation platforms.
- Exposure to technical proposal writing, RFP responses, or proof-of-concept development.
- Relevant cloud, AI, or GRC certifications (completed or in progress).

- Progresses toward becoming a trusted Solutions Consultant capable of independently leading technical pre-sales engagements.
