AppLovin seeks an Analyst, Business Development to build partnerships with mobile game developers in GCR. This onsite Beijing role requires 1-3 years of experience in mobile advertising or gaming, fluency in Chinese and English, and strong client management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interface, negotiate and develop high-impact relationships with mobile game & app developers to build business partnerships and support company growth on both User Acquisition and Ad Monetization in GCR.
  • Collaborate directly with gaming app developers to improve their advertising campaign performance and monetization stacks, troubleshoot and resolve account issues in a timely manner.
  • Use data to guide strategy and implementation of AppLovin solutions, become an expert in AppLovin products and solutions.
  • Liaise with internal technical & operation teams regarding developer-focused technical queries and provide customer support.
  • Leverage competitive analysis and understand the mobile advertising landscape, distill complex messages into simple narrative and action on it.

About the Team

The AppLovin Business Development team develops and sustains partnerships with mobile game and application developers. The team is customer-facing and works closely with mobile platform publishers and developers. Coupling strategic sales, strong negotiation skills, a deep knowledge of industry trends along with market analyses, the BD team transforms new opportunities into long term relationships and endurable revenues.

Please note that this role requires onsite presence at our Beijing office.

Basic

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in an User Acquisition/Account Management/Business Development/Sales role, in mobile advertising, gaming, or relevant industries is essential.
  • Must be fluent in Chinese and English.
  • Exceptional client management skills, with proven success in business/client retention and business growth.
  • Must be data-driven and detail oriented, with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive problem solving capabilities and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Deep seeded curiosity to dive into issues, thoroughly understand them and come up with creative solutions - Proactive problem solving capabilities or a joy for solving puzzles.
  • A highly developed inner motor and hunger to grow.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.

  • A passion for technology and a curiosity to keep learning. We value people who stay ahead of the curve — whether that means experimenting with the latest AI tools to work smarter, geeking out over a new gadget, mastering Excel, or having a background in computer science. As a high-tech, big data company, comfort with technology and collaboration with developers is part of the job.
  • Being a fan of mobile games. You’ll be working with app developers on their apps, especially on games, so having a passion for the vertical that you’re working on is a benefit.
  • Having worked at or founded a start-up is a plus. We’re always looking for people who were key contributors in a fast paced environment.
